Skip SEO: Let an Established Platform Bring You Customers for Free
Easy to do and amazing results, with my own results shown below!
Most companies focus heavily on SEO, which is great for long-term growth, but what if I told you there’s a faster way to get organic traffic from Google?
A few founders (myself included) have tested this method and landed our first customers using it.
The secret? Medium.com.
Medium lets anyone write about anything—from business to personal development—and offers several key advantages:
High domain authority: Google prioritizes Medium articles over brand-new websites.
Monetization: Earn money from your content.
Built-in audience: Join large publications with thousands of subscribers.
Check out this free newsletter called Cinemarketing, it’s quite cool and gives you some unique insights to how movies market their products!

The Most Important Step: Join a Publication
If you post on Medium without joining a publication, chances are you’ll get zero views. Instead, find trending articles on Medium and check where they’re published.
Here’s how:
Click on a trending article.
Look for text that says, “Published in [Publication Name].”
Click on the publication and find the “Write for us” section.

Click on an article and you should find a text saying ‘Published in publication name’
Each publication has different requirements—some don’t allow AI-generated content, while others prefer personal stories. Also, some take longer to review submissions.
I personally recommend ILLUMINATION for business-related articles. I’ve had success with them, but be sure to email them after submission to speed up the process.
Bonus Tip: Use Facebook Groups
Join Facebook groups focused on Medium article submissions. Writers in these groups engage with each other’s content, and I’ve noticed Medium tends to boost articles that get external traffic.
Give Medium a try, and you might be surprised at how quickly you attract readers and customers!
Super Secret Bonus Tip:
Visit the publications page where the URL will look something like this
By adding the latest at the end of the URL you will see how many followers a publication has.
