Biggest Lessons Learned As a Solopreneur

Two years of learning and I finally realised...

I started my entrepreneur journey a while back, by making my first SAAS product and completely failing it, even now I failed the launch of my app,

These failures impacted me a lot before, they still do now, but to a lesser degree.

Though now that I am working on my personal brand, trying every strategy I see, it made me realise.

As a business owner, you must think in terms of efficiency and scalability, and to realise how you don’t have time to do everything.

For example, I am now uploading YouTube videos, Creating Facebook ads, Cold emailing, Writing, Video editing, Designing Canva templates and probably a few I forgot to mention.

With each platform, I put X amount of hours, and at the start, they yield poor results.

For example creating YouTube videos requires a set of skills.

like, designing a thumbnail that users will want to click, SEO research, Speaking skills, script writing and lighting.

They all take time to get good at, though we can slowly get better via feedback, it is a slow progress. If we want to see good results, we have two choices. Focus and take time or hire talent.

Hiring talent takes good vetting skills and money. But focusing is free.

So which should you choose?

Quite honestly. It all depends, if you have money galore, hire skilful individuals, if you don’t practice and test.

Find out which gets you closer to your goal. If you’re getting more views on one platform versus the other ask yourself these two things.

Can I make slight modifications with little time for both platforms?

Does this platform help me achieve my goal faster?

And as a bonus

How steep is the learning curve for this platform vs the other medium?

Ask yourselves these questions honestly and you will be amazed how fast you will be growing.
